Barney Fullington, P.E.
Founder/President
Barney Fullington, PE has over 30 years of experience in the water and wastewater consulting business. In 2015, Barney started IDG with a simple goal of providing the best consulting engineering experience possible for his clients. Over his career, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects from strategic and master planning, to design, construction and startup of some of the countries largest pumping and treatment facilities. In addition, he has been involved in several large program management assignments as well as utility management consulting. He has a passion for problem solving and a strong desire to help developing communities around the world gain access to safe, clean drinking water.

Kevin Colvett, P.E.
Senior Project Manager
Kevin Colvett, PE brings over 28 years of experience to the table in all aspects of planning, design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure. As a former utility manager, Kevin understands our client's side of the business and works hard everyday to help our clients succeed. On the Board of Directors for the water-focused non-profit, The Living Water Project, Kevin spends much of his free time traveling the world helping developing countries meet their basic water and wastewater needs.

Jason English, P.E.
Senior Project Manager
Jason English, PE has over 27 years of experience in environmental consulting. The last 20 years he has been working with municipal clients in all aspects of project planning, funding, design and construction. His experience covers water distribution, wastewater collection, as well as water and wastewater treatment projects with small and medium size water utilities across Tennessee. As a senior project manager, Jason has a proven record of delivering successful projects to clients using collaborative approaches to solve complex problems.

Kevin McCullough, PE
Senior Project Manager
Kevin McCullough, PE has over 22 years of experience in planning, design and rehabilitation of linear infrastructure for water and wastewater utilities. His work has included a wide range of projects from design of new, large diameter water pipelines to extensive sewer rehabilitation experience. As a former collections system manager for a major wastewater utility, Kevin understands what our clients face everyday and incorporates that understanding into the solutions he provides.

Steve Holtermann, PE
Senior Construction Manager
Steve Holtermann, PE has over 26 years of consulting experience working with utility clients to deliver a wide spectrum of civil projects including water and wastewater, tunneling, transportation, and environmental programs. For the last 13 years, he has primarily served as a construction manager for treatment plant, collection/distribution systems, and rehabilitation projects for water and wastewater capital projects. His ability to develop relationships, bridge gaps and foster collaboration between Clients, Contractors and Engineers has proven to be a productive recipe to achieve success in today’s construction environment

Alissa Diminich, PE
Project Manager
Alissa Diminich, PE has over 15 years of experience in treatment plants and pump station design and construction. Experience in both working as a valuable design team member and "in the field" construction observation, she brings a practical approach to her work. Alissa is also the former president of the local chapter of the Society of Women Engineers and the current president of the non-profit AguaClara Reach which provides low tech water treatment systems for remote villages in developing countries.

Daniel Morgan, PE
Project Manager
Daniel Morgan, PE is a structural engineer with over 15 years of experience specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure, flood protection, structural condition assessments, and construction management and inspections. Daniel has managed many design projects during his career and enjoys tackling new challenges, learning new skills, and working with teams. Daniel spends much of his free time with his wife and kids.

Daniel Doss, PE
Project Manager
Daniel Doss, PE has 13 years of experience in the wastewater industry serving in multiple engineering and management roles for a large, regional wastewater utility. His last role included managing 19 people in the utility's engineering group. His experience includes pump stations, pipelines and stormwater management. Since joining IDG, Daniel has served in a program management and management consulting role for several large IDG client utilities. In, addition he has led the design of several large diameter pipeline projects as well as several pump station projects. The knowledge he brings from the municipal utility perspective allows him to provide common sense approaches to many problems our client's face. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.

Andrew Bohon
Project Manager
Andrew Bohon has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Tennessee and spent the first 10 years of his career as a reliability engineer with Dow Chemical at a large chemical complex in Texas. His responsibilities included ensuring reliability of individual systems and pieces of equipment at the plant by troubleshooting inefficient operations and developing solutions to improve efficiency and optimize performance. His depth of knowledge of mechanical equipment and specifically rotating equipment is a great asset to the IDG team and our clients. Since joining IDG in 2021, Andrew has worked on a variety of water and wastewater design projects using his in depth equipment experience to benefit our clients in a variety of ways.

Eric King, PE
Senior Project Engineer
Eric King, PE has over 21 years of broad civil engineering experience including transportation, grading, drainage and stormwater management. He has also been involved in large scale hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the Tennessee River and most recently linear infrastructure planning and design for water utilities. Eric is a technology super user and has helped with deployment of organization wide CAD standards and development of engineering production automation tools in the past. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking and helping his wife with their garden and their own personal zoo of four cats, a dog, five chickens and a lizard.

Joanna Bates, PE
Senior Project Engineer
Joanna Bermingham, PE has 10 years of experience in both design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure. Her experience includes water distribution, wastewater collection, water treatment and wastewater treatment in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She also provides experience in hydraulic modeling to aid clients in comprehensive planning and evaluation of their water and wastewater systems. Joanna has participated in her local professional chapter of Engineers Without Borders, providing clean water to remote areas of Guatemala.

Carter Groves, PE
Project Engineer
Carter Groves, PE graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a MS in Environmental Engineering and BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2020. Since then, he has been heavily involved in the planning and design of water storage, pumping, and conveyance projects for public utilities in Middle Tennessee. Over the past few years, he has gained significant experience in the field as part of the Clean Water Nashville team. In his free time, he enjoys road trips to National Parks, hiking, golfing, and trivia nights with his wife and friends . Carter also likes long walks on the beach...

Mike Harris, PE
Senior Project Engineer
Mike Harris, PE has worked in a variety of engineering management roles including 19 years in municipal government engineering/planning and before that over 20 years of physical plant engineering experience. He has extensive knowledge in management of residential and commercial development from a local regulatory standpoint as well as management of transportation project planning, coordination and execution. Mike has managed locally funded projects for municipalities as well as Federal/State funded projects requiring coordination with multiple government agencies.

Brian Donlon, P.E.
Senior Construction Manager
Brian Donlon, PE, CCM has over 16 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of linear infrastructure and facilities for wastewater, water, natural gas, and stormwater utilities. His work has included a wide range of projects from design of new sanitary sewer, underground Cast-In Place sewer equalization tank and pump station, and extensive sewer rehabilitation experience from serving as the Deputy Construction Manager/Project Manager for KUB's PACE 10 Sanitary Sewer program. Brian currently serves as the Construction Manager for the Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program.

John Brandenburger
Senior Designer
John Brandenburger is senior designer with over 33 years specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure design and construction administration. John uses his extensive experience to efficiently produce plans for a wide variety of design projects. John began working at IDG in early 2024 and has already provided immediate impact on our projects.

Allen Donlon
Senior Designer
Allen Donlon has over 15 years of engineering experience across multiple disciplines including surveying, civil, MEP, and life safety design working for both local and national consulting firms in Middle Tennessee, with significant experience in civil and electrical CAD design. He prides himself on delivering high quality design work with a focus on meeting client needs. Since joining IDG in 2022, Allen has been involved in a wide variety of water and wastewater projects serving as a senior CAD designer. He likes to spend his free time working on computers and playing way too much shuffleboard for someone many years from retirement.

Laura Ussery
Associate
Laura Ussery graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 where she spent the last two years serving as the president of the school’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders. The chapter’s project was to design and install a water distribution system for a farming community in Ecuador, and it was through this project that Laura developed her interest in water treatment and distribution systems. In her free time, she enjoys clay target shooting, knitting, and playing with her goldendoodle.

Lindsey Spears
Associate
Lindsey Spears, EI graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in Environmental Engineering in 2022 where she spent the last years of college working as an intern for a civil engineering consulting firm in Baton Rouge. Her project there included levee rehabilitation, watershed analysis, wetland restoration, and shore protection. Since joining IDG, she has gained valuable experiences in planning and design for our utility clients. She likes to spend her free time playing beach volleyball, hiking and trying out new restaurants.

Cole Scott
Associate
Cole Scott is a 2024 civil engineering graduate from Lipscomb University. Cole has a passion for service including several water engineering mission trips to central America while at Lipscomb. Cole started working at IDG as an intern while finishing up his degree is already proving to a extremely versatile and capable professional helping our water and wastewater utility clients in a positive way.

Grant Voss
Associate
Grant Voss is a mechanical engineering with two years of experience in maintenance of complex systems. Grant served in the US Marine Corps for 10 years prior to attending Lipscomb University. Grant is excited to be working in the water industry and as a native to Middle Tennessee is interested in using his unique skill set to serve local water and wastewater utilities.

Tim Boccarossa

Tim Boccarossa graduated in 2024 with a degree in mechanical engineering graduate In his first year, Tim has gained a broad range of experience in the water and wastewater field, primarily working on planning and design of capital projects.
